File Menu:
File Menu of Microsoft Word 2003 contains all file management commands. These commands are explained one by one below.
New: New Commands comes under file menu. Click on the File menu into the menu bar. A list of options will appear on the screen. Click on the New Option It will create a new blank document for working. Short Cut for New is Ctrl+N.
Open:
Open option is used to open any Microsoft Word 2003 file which has been created recently.
- Open your Microsoft Word 2003 blank file.
- Click on File menu into the menu bar. A list of options will appear on the screen.
- Click on the Open option into the list. A file option dialog box will appear on the screen.
- Choose your file location where you has been saved your file e.g. “My Document”, “My Computer”, “My Music”, “Favorites”, “My Picture” and “My Video” folders.
- If you saved your file into “My Computer” click on it. All hard disk drive partitions will appear on right hand side. Now choose your particular partition where you are saved your word document file.
- After open your particular hard disk partition. Now choose your folder “Yellow color Icon called Folder” in which you are saved your file. Or select the name of file and click on open option on Open dialog box.
